Simply Ballroom's Dance Camp for youth offers an exciting four days of dancing, socializing, and performing. Youth will gain up to 20 hours of training in a variety of dances. Participants will be taught under the watchful eye of top ballroom instructors.
Recreation includes a pizza party Thursday, August 2nd in the evening after class (camp participants only) and a Closing Banquet Showcase Sunday, August 5nd at 6:30 p.m. where each participant will showcase what he/she has learned!

Dance Director
Simply Ballroom dance faculty member Rachelle Anderson is the director of Simply Ballrooms American Youth Dance Program. She enjoys teaching all levels and ages of dancers from beginners to advanced. She especially enjoys teaching large groups of children. Rachelle has been instrumental in the development of the youth ballroom dance programs offered at Simply Ballroom. She has taught elementery, middle school, high school and college level students in Omaha and surrounding areas since 1998. Rachelle's goal is to help each student achieve the highest level of self development, as well as inspire others to futher explore all the different styles of dance that Ballroom has to offer.
Closing Banquet Showcase
The camp concludes on Thursday evening. Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. will be the Closing Banquet Showcase. Participants will perform what they have learned during the camp for their peers and parents. Males must perform in black dress pants, black dress shoes, white long sleeved dress shirt and solid black tie. The females must wear a knee length cocktail dress or a floor length formal dress. The evening includes a catered dinner, drinks, slide show of candid shots taken during the camp, performances by dance camp participants and other Simply Ballroom students.
Spectator Tickets
Spectators can arrive on Sunday evening and will be allowed in the Ballroom between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. but no earlier. Dress for spectators is dressy casual. Ticket sales are $10 per person and are limited so please purchase spectator tickets in advance and before the deadline. There will be NO tickets sold after the registration deadline which is Sunday, July 1st 2012.
DVD (Optional) $20
A camp DVD with the student banquet performances and camp slideshow photos will be available to order. Order forms will be available at the Closing Banquet Showcase.

Because we try to maintain an even number of males and females attending this camp, we must limit the number of each gender that can register to only 50 males and 50 females.
Announcement
REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT NEW FOR 2012:
Due to many complications with the registration process in the past in keeping the gender enrollments equal for this camp, we are changing the process for this year. All FEMALE participants must sign up with a partner of the opposite gender (one girl with one guy). This DOES NOT mean that person will be your partner throughout the camp. It is strictly to help keep the numbers equal to ensure a better camp experience for the participants. If we reach a point where the number of males outnumber the females enough, we will then open up single participation enrollment to females as well.
Girls: Please have both partners information ready at the time of registration. If one partner drops from the camp, the other partner will also be dropped. (Please note; there are no refunds on camp tuition.)
For those females who are not able to find a partner, we will have a waiting list beginning at the start of registration February 1st 2012. As openings become available in the camp, we will call those females on the list in the order in which they were placed on it.

Registration Notes
When you register, please be ready to give basic information on both partners. First and Last names, addresses and phone numbers as well as payment. We accept Cash, Check, and all Major Credit Cards. Please note if you register by email you will not be added to the registered list until payment is paid in full.
- Full Tuition is due at the time of registration. No deposits will be accepted.
- No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
